Multiple OS in VPS
Our virtual private server plans come with three Linux distributions which you may pick from for the Operating System of your new web server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. In addition to being free, the OSs are extremely stable and risk-free and the key reason to offer you the 3 of them is to make sure that you will be able to run any kind of app that you would like, as different pieces of software have different requirements when it comes to the environment they work on. Each one of the three OSs is backed by a huge community of web developers who have generated a large number of software packages that you can install and use on your VPS. In accordance with the Operating System which you choose, you will also be able to choose between three different Control Panels to control your website hosting content. Also, should you decide that you need another OS, we could always re-install the server with it. As an optional upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the Operating System for maximum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are cost-free and they will not increase the price of your new web hosting server, but also because they are exceptionally stable and secure. Each one of them is backed up by a big community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from countless software packages that you could install on your server if the application that you want to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we want to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you get a server with a given OS, we can change it upon request in case it turns out that you need a different one. We could also keep your OS updated weekly as part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
